Julie is a consultant and educator working across sectors to develop global citizen leaders. She is championing cross-disciplinary changes in management education to provide broader benefits for the world, teaching coursework in leadership and change, and working with organizations and individuals to develop the capacity to create, scale and sustain innovative solutions. Julie served as the Global Director of Corporate Responsibility for Deloitte from 2003–2011. In that role, she founded the corporate responsibility function and developed and implemented strategies related to corporate citizenship, sustainability and responsible business practices for the world’s largest professional services network. From 1997–2003, Julie led strategic projects in talent management for Deloitte, including managing an international career development program, the deployment and analysis of a global employee survey, and the development of disaster and crisis management protocols. Julie’s professional experience prior to joining Deloitte includes various positions in university-level international education and student affairs as well as cross-cultural training. Julie holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Christian University; she also studied at the Institute for European Studies in Vienna, Austria. Julie currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Rye Nature Center, the Advisory Board for Change Food, and the Curriculum Council of the Rye City Schools Board of Education.
